Harnessing AI and Clinical Guidelines to Find Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients Not Tested and Treated According to Guidelines | Poster: 291

Time & Date: 2:45 – 3:45 PM CET, 12th November, 2025

Location: Poster Exhibition

Learn how Pangaea’s AI platform accurately assessed metastatic breast cancer patients’ treatment concordance with clinical guidelines. The AI demonstrated high accuracy in determining whether each patient’s care was aligned or deviated: 100% accuracy for biomarker testing, 97.4% accuracy for first-line therapy, and 100% accuracy for second-line therapy; revealing gaps in care and offering a scalable approach to support timely clinical interventions and optimize patient outcomes.

Uncovering Hidden Social Determinants of Health in Urological Cancer Patient Notes Using Natural Language Processing | Presentation: 388MO

Time & Date: 8:30 – 10:00 AM CET, 14th November, 2025

Location: Alpha 1 Stage – AI literacy and education Session

Learn how the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Cancer Center applied Pangaea’s AI platform across over 700,000 patient records to uncover over 18 social determinants of health (SDOH) with 94.7% extraction accuracy. At the point of care, this approach is helping clinicians reduce disparities in real-time and improve outcomes, demonstrating how AI can go beyond data extraction to address social and clinical factors affecting health equity. At the population level, it is providing empirical evidence of inequities in cancer care, informing new policies to transform care and reducing disparities.
