Identifying Cancer Cachexia Using Clinical Reasoning Based AI

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT, May 30th, 2026, Chicago, IL, USA

Poster Presentation

Poster Number & Session: Poster #531 (Abstract #1613), Care Delivery/Models of Care Session

Learn how, in collaboration with NHS Lothian, Pangaea’s platform was configured on clinical guidelines to find untreated and under-treated patients based on information in their records. The results demonstrated that that Pangaea’s platform approach achieved significantly higher precision compared to ICD Codes, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Vanilla Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT-o3-mini.

The earlier discovery of such patients is helping to improve patient outcomes, optimize resources, and reduce healthcare costs through earlier intervention.

Interactive Workshops

On 29–30 May, Pangaea will host a series of workshops where attendees will have the opportunity to test drive the platform’s expanded capabilities for enabling more efficient MDT tumor board workflows.
